“Keeping children safe in education Statutory guidance for schools and colleges” was
published by Department of Education in September 2016. The document explains that
Schools and Colleges have a duty in relation to Record keeping; “All concerns, discussions
and decisions made and the reasons for those decisions should be recorded in writing.”
